  8. A History of Narragansett - a Chronology, from 1800-1999

    The Narragansett Historical Society is very pleased to announce the publication, "History of Narragansett, RI, from 1800-1999 - A Chronology of Major Events." This publication aims to spur interest and further research into Narragansett's rich history. Professor Richard Vangermeersch will present "Learnings from a Chronology: Interesting Tidbits from Narragansett's History." Conversation and exchange of ideas will be encouraged. The presentation will be facilitated by Sue Bush. The presentation is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Maury Loontgens Memorial Library. This event is co-sponsored by the Maury Loontgens Memorial Library and The Narragansett Historical Society. Attendance is free, but registration is requested.
