Youth Community Emergency Response Team Training

The Narragansett Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Southern Rhode Island Volunteers (SRIV) would like to provide local youth with skills training they will need to become part of a Youth Community Emergency Response Team (YCERT).  

The Youth Community Emergency Response Team (YCERT) will be focused on disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Participants will learn how to work collaboratively with local emergency respondents. The program will be composed of an orientation, 6 training sessions, and 1 final session testing the knowledge and skills of the participants. 

All training sessions are planned to be held at the Narragansett Community Center on Saturdays beginning on March 18th, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
