Join us as Living Literature cast members, Barry Press, Jo-An Peralta and Marc Berry will present a 50 min. Readers' Theater adaptation of this year's Read Across Rhode Island title, "Just Mercy" by Bryan Stevenson. Stevenson was a gifted young attorney when he founded Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending the poor, the wrongly condemned and those trapped in the forgotten reaches of our criminal justice system. This program is free and co-sponsored by Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. Those who have not yet read the book will also enjoy the show.
